Khmer: សិល្បៈខាងធ្វើម្ហូបខ្មែរ
Khmer is basically Cambodian cuisine. The chicken curry was one of my first dishes in Cambodia, which was the only thing available at the border crossing. I would say it is similar to thai curry, having a sweet taste, but definitely not as spicy. In Americanized restaurants you will get nice chunks of meat, but in real local areas, its mostly bone chunks/fat and maybe 5% meat of that.
You can pay in American dollars everywhere, and smaller change is returned in Riels, which is the Cambodian currency, since they do not use silver coins.
This particular shot was taken from a restaurant in Siem Riep.
